it's finished

Well I finished my One Tree Hill marathon. Even though he's married and 10 years younger Chad Michael Murray is just to die for. I'm very glad its over and I can get back to my life. Part of the fun of the show is the Dad is one of the most evil characters ever. Each season ends with a cliffhanger were he might possibly die, but I know he won't. There would be no conflict on the show without him.

Currently listening to Cold mountain soundtrack. It's awesome.

Looking forward to the upcoming holidays. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I just love the end of the year.

23. I got a splinter from digging BBs out of a log at youth camp. Why we were encouraged to do this I can't remeber, but maybe the camp was trying to save money. Got a trip to the doctor for that one.

fall TV or guess who I have a crush on?

During August I couldn't wait till the fall season got here. Shows about ghosts, shows about aliens, 4 actors from Buffy have new series. Come September the bloom is gone. All the networks are dishing out the same show. Everyone has a crime show, a medical show, a medical investigation show, a lawyer show, thanks to Lost a maybe supernatural alien show but maybe not, oh and your oh so boring canned sitcom. Been watching "Prison BReak", but OK he has to get out this season or nobody will tune in, what are they going to do next season. The lead was in one episode of Buffy, turned into a sea monster. I made it through Buffy's Allyson Hannigan "How I met your mother" , will I tune in again Monday is slow, so perhaps. Haven't been able to make it through Buffy's David Boreanz, "Bones". Twice now have lost interest. Probably not going to watch Buffy's Nicholas Brandon "Kitchen Confidential" , though at least there are alot of cute guys on that one. The only new show I have so far enjoyed is, and yes it is on the WB, is "Supernatural", the stories are Ok but Jenson Ackles and Jared Padlecki, Ummm Ummm good. I almost made it through half a season of Gilmore Girls because of the latter. And the former made season II of Dark ANgel that much more enjoyable. And now they are on the same show!
But what really has been keeping me from watching TV. Yep TV on DVD, I'm not hooked on a new show for me. two years I resisted but I had to go watch a Disney flick, and now I have a super huge crush on a guy with 3 names. I'll let you guess who? One hint: he's on the WB.

dog butt gland

The new news is my dog Sadie ruptured an anal gland. I did not know, pets have anal glands. Do we have anal glands? So lately I been a nursemaid to my pets. My evenings consist of feed dog special non fiber food, give antibiotic, wash butt. Syringe feed cat special food, IV fluids to cat, give cat vitamins. I remember when I had a life.

I've been sick

sorry bloggers, I've been sick. And my modem and phone line are so slow. My plans for this weekend. Fold laundry, file papers, watch US Open, denote money to red cross, balance checkbook. Have a good Labor Day everyone.

On Friday we found out that the non-toxic ingredients in your standard packing cold pak are really really stinky! Think lots of bad fridge smell. Note to self, don't store fridge packs on top of fridge where they might get squeezed into the freezer and burst. Otherwise you get what is this stinky oozy liquid dribbling out from the bottom of the fridge.
