Classic 80s Graphics!

For 10 years I've been asking my dad to find my ATARI 2600 and this week he has! Oddly enough I just saw a commerical for Playstation 3. This made me angry. AFter all, I went out and spent $200 dollars on a Playstation 2 after spending $150 on a playstation. SO I say no, I ain't gonna do it. No playstation 3 for me. I don't have time to even play #2. NOw back to the ATari, I can't wait to play PONG, Pacman, Space Invaders, and something I call Number Cruncher were you race against someone else gobbling up numbers flying at you! Maybe I can finallly find the Lost Ark from RAiders, cause when I was 12, I could just never do (I would go to the map room, wait for the sun to come up and show where the Ark is, take my shovel and dig, but no Ark. Arrrggghh! But wait I digress) There is just somthing about the simplicity and the huge blocky graphics that I just love. But don't get me wrong, I've also enjoyed making Lara Croft due handstands in Tomb RAider, blowing up a giant snake in Resident Evil, slaying vampires in Buffy! But sometimes you just gotta say when. No playstation 3, corse we'll see how long my will holds out after Nov. 7. I've already asked for a bowling ball for Xmas so perhaps I'm safe.

It's raining corn

WEll per Lever's last comment here's the silos.

silo

And due to the proximity of said silos, there are little corn corn kernal husk remnants constantly floating through the air and covering just about everything. I opened my car door today and a bunched wooshed into the interior. Ahh life in the cornbelt. The other day I actually thought it might be snowing, but nope just corn.

Sorry for the long absence of posts all three of you. I was waiting till I had good job news. No good job news, so I've been hiding from the world in my tiny but oh so comfortable apartment/cave.

Other exciting things. I just sliced open my thumb. I was standing there playing with a glass vial that one is supposed to break open with two hands. Note: I really shouldn't have been playing with it but if I had put it back in my pocket I was likely to forget about it again. Anyway I knew I was thinking of breaking it with one hand and realized this would probably be bad. However me telling myself not too, only lasted for about a minute. While moving two floors in the elevator I broke the vial with one hand and gouged my thumb. Oh well, least it didn't break in my pocket.
