First I was sleepless in Urbana
First I was sleepless in Urbana, then I was sneezing in Thomasboro, then I was homeless in Eugene, but now I am "Sitting by my Faux Fireplace in Springfield".
Well in case you were all wondering why I haven't been blogging, I got a job and moved. So now its even longer to go visit my friends over the pond, but hey I might actually have the money. Ergo thanks for the postcard by the way.
At first I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to jinx it and then well in a month I was out here and started. Along the way we slipped on ice in Nebraska, had to buy chains in Wyoming, and skidded off the road in Oregon. Slow speed skid, kinda fun, high speed skid, not fun. Made Dad drive the rest of the way.
The good news is I don't have to check the Bunsen Burner anymore because I have a desk job. Though that still leaves the heater, the faux fireplace, and the oven to check.

OK, so Springfield... I used to live in Springfield, part of the town of Chelmsford in the county of Essex, England, and there's two other Springfields here in the UK... both in Scotland... one in Fyfe and one in Dumfries & Galloway...
But the US... how many blooming Springfields have you guys got? LOL

So you live in Oregon now?!!!! OMGosh that's so cool! I have been thinking about living there or in Seattle for awhile now. Huge congrats!! Hmmm...so the Christmas card probably didn't make it to you then..... ;) Merry Christmas!!! (heehee, sorry so late)

Lever: Yes, there are alot of Springfields in the US! In fact everytime I call information the computer gives me Springfield IL. If you wondering there is only one next to Eugene. Yes, I miss the silos. I don't miss the trash burning though.
My view now. Other apartments or houses. If I had a view it would be of various industrial plants and refineries. For someplace supposedly environmental they are putting an awful lot into the air.
B: Well thanks for the card. I should eventually get it. Yes please come visit. I have three bedrooms. Job: customer service for custom products. I tell you more on the phone sometime.
